Affliction: Banned is an upcoming mixed martial arts event co-promoted by Affliction Clothing and Adrenaline MMA.[1] The event is scheduled to take place on July 19, 2008 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
The evening's main event will feature the last undefeated Pride FC heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko who is considered the best heavyweight fighter in the world against former 2-time UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia for the newly-created WAMMA heavyweight championship.[2] The one hour undercard will be broadcast on the Fox Sports Network and the main fight card will be broadcast live on pay-per-view.[3] Also appearing at the event, the heavy metal band Megadeth will be performing live.
